Rischen Studios is a New York–based media, film, and photography production company creating documentary films, series, and photographic projects alongside cultural and branded work executed with cinematic craft and narrative depth. Founded by award-winning filmmaker Jasper Rischen, we collaborate selectively with cultural institutions, brands, and storytellers who value authorship and ambitious visual excellence. Projects are produced worldwide, including Los Angeles, Paris, London, and beyond.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
After moving to New York in 2010 from The Netherlands, Jasper established himself as a professional photographer and filmmaker, crafting award-winning documentary projects and high-profile visual work for global platforms and talent.
Graduating with High Honors from Columbia’s Journalism School, he received the Pulitzer Fellowship along with the DuPont/Judy F. Crichton Award for Best Student Film, and the Henry N. Taylor Award for Best Foreign Student. He sold his first feature documentary film to PBS national television immediately after graduation.
A RICH EXPERIENCE
With over 15 years of experience, Jasper has directed and produced work for global platforms including PBS and NOWNESS, and created editorial and branded content for clients such as Nike, Celine, Dior, and Chanel. He has photographed or filmed talent including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Anya Taylor-Joy, Lana Del Rey, and Cardi B. His work blends documentary authenticity with cinematic precision, whether capturing intimate human stories or crafting visually ambitious brand narratives.

Rischen Studios intends to elevate a new generation of talent to audiences worldwide. We believe cinema has the power to bridge gaps, spark meaningful and necessary conversations, and contribute to a more conscious and compassionate society.
We are passionate about creating films that matter, and we have a strong roster of projects in development that we are excited to bring to audiences over the coming years. Rischen Studios produces its own original content while continuing to collaborate selectively on documentary, cultural, and branded work that aligns with our vision.
